The proposed transmission is memory profitability to customer cash generation, then approved fabrication budgets, equipment orders, deliveries and finally supplier cash earnings. Each step has a different clock. A customer may commit to a building before buying tools, delay installation to protect pricing, or spend on a process conversion without increasing wafer capacity.
The useful distinction is capacity versus process intensity. More advanced memory can require additional manufacturing steps even when aggregate wafer starts grow modestly. Conversely, a large spending headline can include land, buildings or other equipment that never reaches these suppliers. A credible model allocates customer spending by process and vendor exposure rather than applying a headline growth rate to both companies.

The thesis earns conviction only when booked business, customer investment and delivery timing agree. Product enthusiasm without an order bridge is insufficient.
There is no current consensus or price snapshot here, so the claim that investors are pricing a peak remains unproven. Demonstrated growth should not be relabeled a variant view. The required comparison is between a current estimates curve and the equipment revenue implied by named customer projects.
If the current valuation assumes record margins persist and another investment acceleration arrives on schedule, a strong base case may offer little return. If a modest spending continuation supports value without rerating, the setup is stronger. This is a valuation question that the original entry prices cannot settle.
